Following on from the success of our live Duke Elder Series, as per popular demand, we have converted the content of this course into an online version, which you can complete in your own pace at home. Once you sign up, you will have full access to the course contents - handy if you are considering taking the Duke Elder exam multiple times.

Once you purchase the course, you will have lifetime access to all the materials and resources included. This means that you can refer back to the course and revisit the content at any time, ideal if you are planning to take the Duke Elder more than once or for future ophthalmology revision.

  • How is the course structured?

    The course is split into nine topics, reflecting the topics that are tested in the Duke Elder exam. Each topic will contain multiple sub-topics, with videos explaining the sub-topic in detail. Each sub-topic will contain SBA questions designed to reflect the format and difficulty of the Duke Elder exam. These SBA questions are made by students who have sat the Duke Elder previously and scored highly, so you can rest-assured that the format of the questions will cover high-yield concepts commonly tested in the exam.

  • Do I have to watch all the videos?

    You have ultimate flexibility as to how you complete the course - you can skip videos you already feel comfortable in, rewatch videos you don't quite understand fully (which I'm sure you'll be doing for optics!), adjust the playback speed to whizz through the topics if you're running out of revision time!, skip the SBAs, answer them again multiple times, etc.

  • Will I get lifetime updates for free?

    All of this and you have access to the course forever once you purchase it once. Handy if you are only taking the Duke Elder as a trial run this time round. If you purchase now, you will have free lifetime updates - so as we edit the course to keep it up to date, you will have access to the new content and new videos automatically.

  • Do I have to complete the quiz at the end of each chapter?

    No, it's not compulsory. If you already feel like you are confident in the topic, you can skip ahead to wherever you like. However, these questions are designed in such a way so as to reflect the style of the Duke Elder exam, so it would benefit you to give them a go to consolidate your learning and for exam practice.
